Log Analyst

Identifies and develops markets for new or existing well log products (Well Analysis Products) and services. Responsible for analyzing well logs and making recommendations to customers for well completion or new well sites. Responsible for analyzing well logs and making recommendations to customers for well completion or new well sites. Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Maintains an awareness of new technologies. Responsible for monitoring the quality of tool and log response based upon hole conditions, geology, and reservoir fluid properties within a NWA/Country. Typical requirements include an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 7 years experience, with a minimum of 4 years experience as a Technical Professional in Logging and Perforating. Certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred.

Operations Support:

• person will be responsible for performing all answer products related to operations. This includes raw/processed data quality control, model/parameters selection, answer product final package (prints/digital/reports...etc.).
• Discuss with customer the requested product before acquisition to ensure meeting customer objectives and post processing to share results, conclusions and future recommendation
• With the help of data tech. will be responsible in processed data management (ensure results delivery at customer satisfaction quality, archiving ...etc.).

• Support the country/region SMEs in providing the needed answer product as part of FRS solutions that meets customer's reservoir/asset challenges
• this person is expected to focus more on Unconventional Gas Reservoirs specifically Shale Gas
• This person will have a role in training/developing other assigned FRS young professionals within the region
• Proactively, represent Halliburton in technical events by providing technical presentations, L&L, papers that market our technologies and solutions.
