 CEPSA is an integrated energy company operating at each stage of the oil value chain, with nearly 12.000 employees worldwide. Among others, it is engaged in petroleum and natural gas exploration and production activities, with several blocks in five countries at the moment: Spain, Algeria, Colombia, Egypt and Peru.
In the last few years, CEPSA Exploration & Production, headquartered in Madrid (Spain), has quadrupled its staff, and employs today around 650 people worldwide. The company is now gradually broadening its international presence and investing in E&P activities, strongly supported by IPIC (Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Investment Company), which in 2011 became the sole shareholder of Cepsa.

The SENIOR NEW BUSINESS PRODUCTION ENGINEER will be based in Madrid, integrated into the New Business and Development Team and reporting to the Production Engineerig Manager
Key accountabilities
•Support the New Business and Development team with the purpose of evaluating potential new acquisitions.
•Prepare conceptual plans, designs, and the application of production technologies for the new business opportunities
•Carry out production systems analysis with the objective of identifying advantages and limitations / bottlenecks.
•Deliver risk assessments for both existing facilities and re-designs in order to protect downsides
Requirements
•Minimum bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering
•Minimum of 15 years E&P experience as a Production Engineer / Production Technologist
•Experience in field development planning.
•Experience in selection, design and installation of completions, artificial lift, completion fluids, flow assurance, sand control, stimulation etc. as well as applying new techniques.
•Knowledge of production data base like OFM, DSS, etc. as well as drilling and Completion data base like Open Wells, Well Profile, etc.
•Experience in Oil & Gas field production and well completion modelling using Nodal Analysis Software like PROSPER, WellFlow, PipeSym as well as in tubing stress analysis using software like TubeMove, WellCat, etc.
•Experience in field/well operation with artificial lift systems, injection systems, rigless well interventions and DSTs as well as Production monitoring, allocation and day to day follow up.
•Experience in production and well management, diagnostics, enhancements and well surveillance planning and techniques.
•Working knowledge in English is essential, knowledge of Spanish will be well regarded
