The Customer Service Representative works within the sales and customer service team to ensure delivery of customer requests.
Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)
•Provide quotations to general order requests from customers.
•Define product and service requirements with customers.
•Build relationships with existing and potential Proserv customers.
•Responsible for accurate order entry into Proserv's ERP system.
•Work with operations and customer service personnel to provide on-time delivery and expediting orders.
•Assist in document control by verifying product/service material selections.
•Ensure export compliance when shipping paperwork.
•Accountable for professional interfacing with potential and existing Proserv customers.
•Acknowledges and responds to customer requests, including product and service information, orders, general quotations, terms and conditions, and/or delivery status/schedule.
•Supports phone, fax, email inquiries of customers by soliciting customer requirements and expectations and making recommendations relating to products that will satisfy their requirements.
•Review orders for completion and accuracy.
•Assists with complaints by collaborating with Customer Service Manager for successful resolution.
•Assists with preparation of product support materials and promotional information consistent with Sales Department goals.
•Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.
•Apply Proserv, and where appropriate Client Company's, Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Safety Management Systems.
•Promote a culture of continuous improvement, and lead by example to ensure company goals are achieved and exceeded
Minimum of a high school diploma.
•2 to 4 years order entry experience.
•Excellent office communication and customer service skills
•Ability to work independently
•Working knowledge of PC based software tools, including MRP systems and Office.
•Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with various skillsets.
•Ability to multitask and perform under pressure to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
