Job Description:

We are looking for Drilling Engineers in Houston, TX for contract opportunities with a large oil and gas company. Qualified candidates must have the following:
-A BS Degree in Engineering required as well as a minimum of 10 years of Drilling and/or Completions Project Experience, preferably with experience in steam flood or cyclic steam shallow land Drilling, Completions, and Well Servicing/Workover experience.
-The candidate must be proficient in Excel, Power point, and have the ability to learn Well View.
-The candidate should preferably have experience with preparing, evaluating, and executing contract tenders for well tangibles and well construction/well servicing services.
-Mastery of English, written and verbal, is a must.
-The candidate will be expected to lead meetings driving decisions on well design and execution strategies.
**The project is in the mid stages of Phase 2 and expected to be fully sanctioned and pass into Phase 3 by Q1 2013. Work between now and end of Phase 2 will include detailed engineering of Drilling and Completions well designs. There is potential for the candidate to move with the Project Team to Kuwait some time in Stage 3, most likely Q1 2014.
