EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION LEVEL: High School Minimum, Prefer 4 Year College or Equivalent Experience
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN POSITION TITLE/ROLE: 5 - 15
TOTAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 Min - 15 Plus Desired
TECHNICAL SKILLS: Candidate should capable to lead and manage the full scope of work of a Piping fabrication and installation Estimate. Also should be capable to develop and maintain unit pricing database and historical metrics.
Candidate should be fully capable in both conceptual and detailed build to print material takeoffs. Candidate should also be completely familiar with Piping Fabrication Institute and other industry codes.
Candidate should be able to train, mentor and manage junior estimators.
Relevant experience from EPC Contractors, Piping/Mechanical Contractors, or Piping Fabricators preferred.
2-4 Years of Technical Training or College desired. Consider also experience from previous employment in the same field.
SOFT SKILLS: Fully competent with MS Office products, Excel, Word. MC2-Ice 2000, Timberline, AspenTech or other third party estimating software desired.
