 Job Overview:
The job includes installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all oilfield automation equipment which includes pressure and temperature controllers (Foxboro and Rosemount), flow meters (Halliburton), SCADA systems (ABB Advant & Masterpiece), GAS Turbine control systems (GE-Hawker Sidley and ABB)
General requirements:
BSc (equivalent or higher) for Automation
Excellent command of English Language in speaking and writing
Practical experience with:
- Control Systems Maintenance and troubleshooting referred:ABB Masterpiece, Advant 400 & 800 Series & Rockwell Allen Bradley Controllogix)
- Control Systems Programming (preferred ABB AMPL Programming language & RSLinx)
- Process Visualisation (preferred: ABB MasterView, Operate IT, Process Portal, or 800xA)
- Analog Control and Governing Systems (Hawker Sidley & CEWE)
- Preference would be given to those who have previously worked for ABB
- Some experience with control loops (4 to 20 mA)
- Some basic pneumatic knowledge
