Job Description:

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The Geothermal Drilling Supervisor will be involved in the overall drilling campaigns for the various geothermal projects worldwide. He will report to the Drilling Manager and will support the drilling team with practical input and experience to perform the following:
a) Well design and engineering;
b) Drilling program including operation and site planning;
c) Drilling supervision and management;
• Lead and direct the field drilling teams to meet/exceed the operational goals of quality, efficiency, productivity and cost controls;
• Undertake health and safety procedures to ensure compliance with Company standards and comply with local regulatory agencies;
• Drilling logistics;
d) Contracting and tendering (drilling equipment and services);
• Prepare rig data sheets for design of drilling equipment and safety factors;
• Manage supplier relationships to guarantee optimal pricing and risk exposure;
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
•5-10 years operational experience preferably in the geothermal drilling industry or equivalent;
•Track record of operational excellence in (geothermal) drilling projects;
•Consistent success in the application of improvement of planning and scheduling of drilling activities;
•Excellent work planning and prioritization skill sets;
•Experience in support of contract writing, negotiation and application in the field ;
•Proficient computer skills;
•Business fluent in English.
