Job Description:
|
 An International Oil & Gas Company is seeking to recruit Senior Drilling Supervisor for their Kurdistan (Iraq) Operations.
Purpose:
Monitor & co-ordinate rig site operations carried out by land drilling rig using all other services in accordance with the company provided plans / programs.
Responsibilities:
Ensures drilling of the well in uninterrupted safe and efficient manner as per the given program.
Participation in development of program for cost effective drilling systems.
Co-ordination & control of company hired Rig & other Service Contractor's equipment,
personnel & services for efficient drilling operations.
Monitor work in adherence with quality control, safety and environmental guidelines.
Plan & mobilize material, equipment and services required for scheduled drilling program.
Ensure that all the personnel operate in efficient and professional manner and study their Operational reports as per the standards established by the operator.
Co-ordinate with management on daily progress and ensure the compliance with scheduled deadlines.
Co-ordinate & monitor rig site operations carried out by land drilling rig using all other services in accordance with the company provided plans / programs.
Interfacing with the Supply Bases at Erbil & client locations.
Day to day liaison with Senior Drilling Engineers, Drilling Superintendents & Logistics coordinator at onshore office, with regards to material and personnel movement requirements.
Achieve a smooth, safe & incident free operation on Rig.
Preparation of DDR (Daily Drilling Report) & cost sheet
Check and maintain records of job ticket prepared by Third party vendors for invoicing.
Should strictly follow cost control methods
Implement drilling fluids program.
Prepare look ahead program and follow.
Requirements:
Preferably Engineering Graduate, science graduate if the candidate is highly experienced and exceptional.
Minimum 15years operations experience on drilling rig.
Minimum 5 years as a Drilling Supervisor on land rig including rig building
Experience of working in H2S environment is preferred.
Certification: Valid well control school training certificate

Rotation : 28/28 ON/OFF
