Job Description:
|
 Principal Accountabilities:
Provide the ability to trace conformance of manufactured parts to standards and specifications for down-hole tools so that conformance to specifications can be proven.
Assure tool performance by preventing the use of non-conforming material.
Perform dimensional inspections to ensure parts are machined correctly.
Initiate non-conformance reports and coordinate disposition of non-conforming parts.
Maintain data base of non-conformances.
Maintain calibration of measuring devices.
Communicate with Group Engineering on identified non-conformances.
Ensure parts are properly tagged and necessary paperwork is turned in prior to parts being released from QC.
Ensure general housekeeping is maintained at a high standard at all times for a safe, clean working environment and that OSHA regulations are observed in the area.
Work in accordance with information and training provided.
Qualifications:
Ability to read prints.
Knowledge in the use of measuring devices.
Keyboard skills.
Good communication skills.
Good team player with sound interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of Quality and Safety Management systems, Group procedures, policies and processes.
Fully conversant with the SAP and company used software packages.
Standard Grade: English, Mathematics.
