Job Description:

Location: Houston, TX

Education: A BS degree in Engineering is required; Petroleum discipline preferred

Experience: Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in engineering and operations, with core expertise in regulatory compliance for world wide drilling operations; International regulatory experience is required

Qualifications: Expert knowledge in domestic and international government and regulatory agencies

Description:
The Regulatory Advisor key initiatives will be focused on monitoring, advising,  and  preparing recommendations for emerging regulatory compliance issues on a global basis for drilling and completions.

Job duties to include:

•Prepares responses on compliance regarding operating plans
•Amends operating plans to comply with WW and domestic drilling regulations
•Reviews new and proposed government requirements for drilling operations (BOEM, NTL, API)
•Reviews proposed new recommendations for standard practices
•Implements required changes and/or amendments from government agencies for compliance
•Review of international new country regulations and requirements for drilling operations
•Review of international new country entry drilling regulations and requirements
•Implementation of international new country changes/amendments of all required regulations to comply with drilling operations
•Monitor changes in all international and domestic policy/regulations (where we operate) for operating compliance
•Monitor and compliance with any and all drilling requirements worldwide

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
