Main Job Function:
To follow up installation engineerig carried out by installation contractor. Installation methods determination. Perform installability studies, planning of offshore works and supervise offshore activities on board of construction vessels.
• Full Compliance with all applicable HSE requirements
• Technical Integrity of Installation Works execution
• Technical quality of project installability reviews during pre-execution phase
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Review installation manual, installation procedures, specifications and drawings ensiuring compliance with project specification and HSEQ requirements
• Witness SIT, FAT, EFAT and load out, and review/approve relevant procedures
• Witness installation aids installation at fabrication yards
• Witness installation HAZID and HAZOP
• Assist offshore construction manager/site representative on board during the offshore work execution
• Liase with vendors during detail design, installation, precommissioning and commissioning works
• Coordinate the preparation of the installation and precommissiong procedures (especially for the subsea projects)
• Prepare Installation, precommissining and commissioning plan and strategy during pre-execution phase (especially for the subsea projects)
• Installability study including method statement during pre-execution phase
• Liase with Marine Warranty Surveyor and other third parties during detail desing and installation work execution
Candidate Specifications:
• Relevant degree
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Several years of experience in Oil &Gas industry
• Several years of experience in offshore installation works (subsea and deepwater is preferred)
• Good problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to be flexible and innovative
• Communication and listening skills
