This company is one of the most respected oil and gas operators and producers around and they are looking for sustained growth in their North Sea operations over the next few years. This has prompted them to develop the exploration team in Aberdeen and they are looking to add some experienced professionals to this team. Role:

This role is for a Geologist to join the exploration team in Aberdeen. The main focus of the role is going to be to evaluate and rank the exploration prospects within the UK portfolio. The team will focus on exploration prospectivity within the licensed acreage of the group and these prospects need to be given the green light for drilling over the next few months. You will have many years of exciting work ahead of you with this company.

Skills and Experience:

The ideal Geologist for this role should have at least 7 years of post graduate experience from an oil company, service company or consultancy. Your experience should ideally include working on the North Sea area. Various software packages are utilised within this company, so you should be familiar with at least one recognised industry software package. Ideally you should also have a Msc qualification.
