Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Operations Manager, DTS - GTO Decommissioning manages and directs day-to-day operations of the DTS GTO Decommissioning group in Houston Texas. Schedules and allocates work and projects. Promotes and encourages TEAM development and Continuous Improvement to increase efficiency, moral and costs reduction. Provides direction in purchasing, inventory planning, maintenance, shipping, receiving and safety for the Houston GTO Decommissioning group. Assists DTS Sales /Engineering Team on bids and proposals. Assists with coordinating personnel activities and fast response work. Coordinates with Financial Administrator during business close to ensure data/documentation availability and accuracy. Ensures the Project Manager is actively tracking and submitting all completed/on going projects for invoicing monthly. Attends Customer meetings. Responsible for general shop floor processes - ensuring review meetings and teams evolve and coordinate activities, initiating improvements in current systems and implementation of pertinent quality programs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum three (3) years of ROV and/or tooling operations, maintenance and repair experience. Experience must include Project Management of ROVs, Vessels and Intervention Tooling. Must have experience managing personnel, working with customers and working with budget costs and revenues.
Must be an advanced user of Microsoft Suite including Project, Excel and Word. Extensive MRP and eventually Peoplesoft experience required.
