Job Description:
|
The Instrument Fitter builds BOP Control equipment and production equipment. Runs group tubing to equipment and control panels. Completes work off site on occasion. Reads and comprehends hydraulic schematics. Reads and comprehends drawings, specifications and procedures. Operates hydraulic power units. Operates general hand, hydraulic and air tools.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Requires five (5) to ten (10) years related experience in manufacturing for offshore service industry. Must have over five (5) years experience running group tubing, reading schematics, and cone & thread autoclave (medium and high pressure) tubing.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills.
