The Configuration Data Manager is responsible for implementation of a C/DM system and associated processes that result in effective requirements management, product configuration status and document data controls throughout OIE Product Life Cycles. Responsible for capturing requirements that will provide current baseline identification and documentation (functional, allocated, product) and an audit trail for all deliverable end items, including software. Such identification and documentation may consist of, but will not be limited to, contract end-item specifications, drawings, operating procedures, engineering, manufacturing, test and inspection reports and other technical documents as necessary. Ensures the integrity and traceability of products throughout their lifecycle by including key CM activities, infrastructure, staffing, roles and responsibilities, interfaces, training, and tools.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. BS in a technical discipline a plus. Must have a minimum of ten (10) years C/DM experience. Five (5) years minimum experience in a manufacturing/production environment a must.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office. Must have experience with PLM and ERP systems. Specific experience with Enovia and/or PeopleSoft a plus. Experience/knowledge in CMMI and CM software a plus.
