 EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
The minimum education required to occupy this position is:
• University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent related educational course of short duration (2 years) from an accredited technical school or institute as required.
• A Chief Engineer STCW rule III/2 competency certificate issue by the Navy is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
The minimum experience required to occupy this position is:
• Must have 5 or more years of experience in maintenance in an offshore drilling operation.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE
The minimum knowledge required to occupy this position is:
• Solid experience with hydraulic systems is required.
• Must have working experience in reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
