Major Operator seeks to recruit an Operations Reservoir Engineer with experience in Petroleum / Reservoir engineering with Oil & Gas operating companies. This role is based in Aberdeen and is offered on a permanent basis.
The post holder will be required to monitor daily production and ensure that reservoirs and wells are performing as expected whilst investigating and resolving any anomalies, working closely with the operations group(s) to agree short term production strategies and targets and understand and control reservoir displacement processes to help optimise the economic recovery.
The Operations Reservoir Engineer will also develop and maintain an artificial lift strategy, and a process for optimising the artificial lift systems adopted whilst ensuring the strategy is communicated, understood and applied by the operations group(s).
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in Engineering or Geoscience discipline and have UKCS experience.
