Job Description:

"Tatweer Petroleum brings together (NOGA) holding, Occidental Petroleum Corporation and Mubadala Development Company, in a joint venture operating company to manage the Bahrain Field and use the latest recovery technology to more than double the production capacity of the field over the next 20 years."
Responsible for managing the implementation of a range of production enhancement projects including automation, production gathering, water injection, oil and water processing, power upgrades, utility system modifications, and steam distribution systems associated with the development of a desert based onshore oilfield from concept freeze through to handover to operations
Responsibilities
- Manages all projects within approved budgets against agreed schedules and delivers in accordance with technical specifications
- Compiles and obtains inter-departmental agreement to project basis of design in conjunction with any external project customers
- Develops sections of the Project Execution Plan, incorporating a project Process Risk Management (PRM) plan
- Ensures compliance with project HESMS and Quality procedures
- Provides timely information to the Project Manager and other members of the PMT to enable adequate resources to be allocated to areas under their responsibility
- Facilitates timely and smooth workflow across project interfaces
- Responsible for ensuring that AFE approval, MOC, commercial and technical reporting and Process Risk Management requirements are addressed as integral elements of the project scope
- Responsible for timely completion of progress and cost reports for all projects under his supervision
- And other duties as assigned by your supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must posses a minimum of 5 years direct experience in the Oil & Gas industry in a similar project engineering capacity within an engineering and construction environment
- Must posses BSc Degree in engineering or acceptable equivalent
- Previous experience of client management of engineering and construction contractors with a demonstrated track record of controlling scope, schedule and cost growth is considered to be highly desirable
- Strong team player with good interpersonal, analytical and project engineering skills
- Ability to effectively interact with management, discipline engineers, construction personnel, vendors contractors, and all other Tatweer departments to facilitate flow of information
- Must be PC literate and skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook as a minimum with a good working knowledge of project planning and cost tracking software
- Must possess the ability to handle multiple assignments with a focus on meeting deadlines and with delivery of a quality project
