 My client a leading global oil and gas company have a need for a Wells Team Leader to execute and deliver Wells activities whilst achieving project objectives. You will report directly into the Operations Manager with responsibility for the safe and efficient start up and assurance process for semi submersible and heavy duty jack up mobile units. After completion the successful candidate will ensure the delivery of the high quality well planning activities, programs and offshore execution.
Duties will involve ensuring full compliance with rig intake process, rig audits are carried out and actions successfully closed out on time, crew competence to ensure safe and efficient start up and continuation
execution, leading the operations wells team onshore and offshore to execute the well plans and procedures on the rig, delivering the well objectives within budget, providing leadership to drive compliance during well operations and execution, managing rig and third party contractual relationships to deliver Wells objectives, coaching and mentoring Engineers and Well Site Leaders to ensure appropriate development and career progression, managing continuous performance improvement and supporting and guiding Well Site Leaders.
It is essential that applicants have a degree or relevant industry experience demonstrating the management of Wells operations. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate HSSE leadership and experience of managing third party contractors.
