A global, diversified, upstream oil and gas company, operating in three area's including the North Sea have a need for Senior Well Integrity Engineers with multi-disciplinary backgrounds and proven track record in either design, construction, maintenance or operation of wells.
Duties will include ensuring that well integrity information are compiled and maintained, that integrity status of each well is up-to-date and that any issues and deficiencies are documented, reported and progressed to resolution, ensuring that Well Integrity work is co-ordinated and planned, and completed, co-ordinating resources and personnel to carry out maintenance, testing and repair of Platform and Subsea Xmas Trees, Wellheads and annulus containment, reporting the results of Well Integrity work, promoting effectiveness and highlighting areas of concern, providing guidance on the application of Well Integrity Procedures to Well Engineers, offshore and onshore operations teams and Subsurface groups, providing Well Integrity technical support and liaison with H&SE Inspectors, Well Examiners and Auditors as required, provide technical advice and support on well integrity matters, ensuring that the integrity of the well structure is appropriately considered in programmes and during well construction and well intervention activities, driving the investigation of compromised well integrity or failures of equipment, identifying root causes, key improvements and ensuring implementation of remedial actions, manage dispensation process for non-compliant / failed well integrity, identifying and assess changes to equipment and operating practices and implement improvements, ensuring budget and expenditure provide cost-effective, long-term, maintenance of integrity, building relationships with appropriate disciplines/teams, providing Wells Group technical interface with Wellhead equipment and service providers and assist in the procurement of equipment, materials and services, working with Service Companies to ensure they deliver quality equipment and services to the schedule and cost agreed, assisting in the review and revision of Well Integrity procedures to reflect changes in legislation and ensuring that performance standards & industry standards are applied.
Successful candidates will be skilled in the collation, analysis & interpretation of technical information and assessing risk. Preparation of technical reports and presenting recommendations within the organisation is a key aspect of this post, therefore candidates must have detailed knowledge of installation and maintenance of well equipment.
A background in an operating environment with experience in the oilfield service sector and offshore experience is essential and applications will only be considered from candidates who are legally permitted to work in the EU.
