Job Description:
A leading global Oil & Gas Company's require a Drilling Supervisor/Well Site Leader to supervise offshore/onshore drilling, completion and workover operations. This role is primarily at the rig site although some time you may be required to work in the office undertaking operations planning after action reviews.

Duties will include ensuring that all well site drilling and completions activities are carried out in compliance with the Operating Management System, ensuring that all well site drilling and completions activities are carried out in compliance with the Engineering Technical Practices and Drilling and Well Operations Practices and appropriate legislative requirements, meeting the requirements set out in the Well Site Leaders expectations document, supervising the safe and efficient implementation of all well engineering programmes, ensuring appropriate interaction with other platform/rig disciplines and management to ensure any simultaneous operations issues are appropriately managed, monitoring all wells personnel and materials movements to ensure that there are no delays to programme and maximise cost efficiency, ensuring effective management of the drilling and completions offshore management team to deliver continuous improvement in HSE and operational performance, driving continuous performance improvement through effective implementation of technical limits, supervision and management of well site service partner personnel, accurate reporting of well site drilling and completion activities, performing audits as per the requirements of the WSL Audit programme, reporting, investigating, follow-up and ensuring close-out of all on-site incidents and near- misses relating to personnel, equipment and procedures promptly, development of the on-site team and coach individuals to enhance their contribution to performance, build team spirit and morale through inclusive behaviour and respect for diversity and ensuring site personnel understand the Emergency Response Procedures and carry out regular drills.

A degree or relevant industry experience is essential with previous experience as a well site leader with an operator or drilling contractor. It is also essential that candidates have experience with operational and safety program issues, experience of managing 3rd party contractors and an ability to proficiently use the Microsoft office Suite

Prior experience as a well site leader for an operator and the IWCF Well Control certificate or equivalent is a must for this particular post. Applicants must also have knowledge of Landmark's Drilling Management system, previous experience of managing and controlling operational costs, previous participation in continuous improvement and learning process, excellent organizational skills, experience in building and leading project teams and must be able to demonstrate strong decision-making skills.
