Job Description:
|
 This job will write and assist in the implementation of various new, high-profile GWO Practices and Guides that span across all of GWO Engineering or are cross-functional. Immediate focus will be on the development of an Engineering Technical Practice and Guide on the methodology of calculating Maximum Anticipated Wellhead Pressure (MAWHP) followed by work with all Regions for global implementation. These documents have been endorsed by the VP Engineering and Operations, VP Engineering, and the Wells Engineering Authority.
- Develop and lead implementation of new Engineering Practices and Guides(new Engineering Technical Practice and Guide on the methodology of Maximum Anticipated Wellhead Pressure calculations, GWO MoC Guide implementation, Practices and Guides to incorporate into the New Well cp)
- Engage and support Regions with training and embedding programs
- Provide support with other associated GWO practices (e.g. clarity and content reviews on ETP's and Guides)
B.S. in Engineering
- Strong wells engineering background in a variety of well types
- Project Management skills
- Strong technical engineering skills and ability to prepare detailed technical documents
- Strong knowledge of BP Processes (BtB, ETP's, MoC, etc)
- Self-starter and pro-active
- Good networking and people skills
- IT skills (Microsoft Office)
