 Senior Mechanical Engineer: LONDON: STAFF: EPC
Degree level, chartered Mechanical, with between 5 and 10 yrs experience in mechanical engineering roles, preferably in the oil and gas industry for onshore gas plant and offshore upstream projects.
The role would suit a broadly experienced engineer with a sound knowledge in rotating equipment and packages.
A Senior Mechanical Engineer is sought to strengthen our core team in this area and who is looking to make a career move into a fast-moving and technically diverse environment.
There are significant opportunities for career development which will be supported by ode for a driven and high calibre candidate.
The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of projects at Conceptual, FEED and Detail Design phases in both the Oil and Gas and Renewables projects.
Typical responsibilities and involvement will include :
Pumps, compressors, tanks, vessels, generators, turbines
Specification and data sheet production
oVendor data review, technical bid evaluations
Compliance with contract requirements, codes and applicable standards
Inter-discipline interfacing
Assistance with proposals as necessary
Quality, Test and Inspection activities, FAT's etc as appropriate
Working knowledge of applicable offshore petroleum codes and standards, such as ASME, API's, and European codes;
The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft's excel and word processing packages
