Job Description:

Our Emergency Preparedness team is looking for a contract Emergency Planning Zone (EPZ) Advisor to join the team. Reporting to the Upstream Lead Emergency Preparedness, the EPZ Advisor will provide technical support to the team.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Emergency Planning Zone calculations and report generation using ERCBH2S and other regulatory prescribed models.
Completion of pipeline/facility H2S release volume calculations and report generation
Provide data review and support for operational areas with respect to license amendments, discontinuation and abandonments.
Provide guidance on detailed data searches for client drilling, completions and servicing projects
Provide technical support in the development of Environmental Emergency Response Plans for a variety of regulated substances
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
Graduate of Petroleum Engineering Technology or Petroleum Engineering
A minimum of 3 - 5 years related experience
Previous experience in pipeline and facility calculations is required
Excellent computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office)
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to work within client deadlines with minimal supervision
Must possess initiative and have strong communication skills
Be able to work in a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills
