Our Client -
One of the world's largest global diversified mining businesses a major producer of seven commodities across various locations globally. Due to a major expansion they are now seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer
Job Description -
Reporting to the Superintendent, Maintenance Engineering, and the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for providing electrical engineering support to the production and maintenance groups to ensure production can achieve their committed tonnage for the year in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage and control projects to ensure that objectives are met in an economical and timely manner
- Ensuring successful completion of projects in accordance with established company procedures, standards, and policies.
- Provide technical support based on sound engineering principles and recognized industry and company standards.
Candidate Requirements - The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
- Must be eligible for licensing with P.E.O.
- 2 years' experience in an underground environment
- AutoCAD and scheduling program knowledge would be considered an asset
