 Rouge Pipeline Services (RPS), was set up in 2003 and became an independent company in 2008. From our headquarter in Dubai, we provide a wide range of services dedicated to the Oil & Gas industry, mostly in the MENA Region. The Group activities include pipeline services, project management consultancy as well as technical assistance solutions.

Sr. Draftsman - Structural
Job Description - (TASKS):
Assist to Project Engineer for Project Engineering & Construction Dossier involving :
Equipment, Specifications, data sheets,
Detail Engineering construction drawings using AUTOCAD / Other application.
Material take off
Documentation etc.,
Activities - Required:
o Receive basic concept and brief scope of the project from the Project Engineer.
o Perform site surveys to collect data for preparing detail engineering.
o Prepare detailed construction drawings.
o Preparation of Bulk material requisitions for Procurement.
o Inspection of Physcial dimensions for onshore fabrication at CONTRACTOR works.
o Maintaining master drawings / equipments data base etc.,
o Develops all technical aspects for new / revamped projects for inclusion in preparations of technical scope of work. This includes :-
Site survey to establish status of existing facilities.
Carries out data gathering and operations review to establish scope of design and prepares the basic engineering documents.
Prepares mark ups of existing structures
Prepares detailed structural.
Prepares structural material take off requirements in accordance with Company specification and prepare designs of projects AutoCAD formats.
Prepares simple structural calculations.
o Evaluates various types of platform substructure including preliminary design and analysis.
o Prepares pre-project documents.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To ensure all Site modifications, Project modifications to 'AS BUILT' status and update master drawings.
Required Skills:
o Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
o Minimum ten (10) years Design and drafting experience in various engineering.
o Good knowledge of English.
o Good knowledge of CAD drafting (mainly 2D on Auto CAD R.2007)
