Job Description:

Senior Electrical Engineer with experience developing firmware for control systems is needed to work as a Project Lead for a World Class Oil & Gas Services Company. The project lead is expected to be engaged in new projects involving the development of the new control system and next generation field network and wireless system.
Responsibilities
Lead a team to develop ASH real time acquisition and control systems.
Firmware development for data acquisition and control systems.
Sensor and actuator selection.
Control system hardware selection (PLCs, HMIs, enclosures, cables, network switches, power supplies, etc.)
Preparation of Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
Support of environmental qualification testing.
Verification of system function in the lab and in the field.
Construction of prototypes. Creation of schematics and diagrams.
Requirements
7+ years experience in Engineering and a Masters Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering combined with 5+ years of experience as a Technical Lead
Technical Skills needed: Firmware programming (C++ with RTOS, Siemens Step 7) and testing with real and simulated hardware, Experience with PID controller tuning, Technical Writing Skills & Data Analysis using Excel & Matlab
Project Management Skills needed: supplier relations, adherence to schedules and budgets, basic engineering change-control processes (ECRs, ECOs), estimation of task duration and resource requirements, and close coordination with other interfacing projects
