Job Description:
|
Sr. Design Engineer needed for a provider of compression equipment and aftermarket parts and services. This is a direct hire position in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
Uses advanced computer assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering and design taks of reciprocating compressors
Preperation of product or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics
Directs and coordinates manufacturing in the building of prototypes, parts and assemblies
Directs designers and drafting team as needed
Participates in and is supportive of Design for Six Sigma
Requirements:
5-10 years experience working as a Sr. Mechancial Designer, in which some of those years are specifically related to the design of compression equipment
Experience with ANSYS Workbench + CFX, UG/NX/Team Cad Center, AutoCAD, and SAP Software
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering required with a Masters Degree preferred
