 Job Description
Swift energy is looking for an energetic, self-motivated Production Engineering Technician with 5 to 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industries with a background in production optimization, well completions, artificial lift and production modeling.
The successful candidate will provide independent analysis and technical support to the production and completion engineering members of our Asset Team(s).
The candidate must have a strong interest in applying and further developing their analytical skills from a business and technical perspective within a high-performance team environment; delivering production enhancements of domestic oil and gas assets that have a direct impact on the Company's bottom line.

Technical Experience
•Knowledge and understanding of oil and gas operations
•Competence in MS Office software suite (particularly Excel)
•Excellent analytical skills
•Experience in applications software such as OFM, Enersight/Wellspring, Rimbase, Rodstar, Spotfire, Oracle/Enterprise Upstream, IHS Drilling Info.
•College Degree in Technology or Engineering or equivalent industry experience
Responsibilities
•Participate as part of the Asset Team supporting the production and completion engineering personnel in meeting project objectives within time and budget limitations
•Analyze and interpret engineering and business data and effectively communicate and report results
•Generate economic forecasts based on technical, cost and price projections
•Develop, maintain and update asset databases in a variety of management software systems, including a broad range of data types:
◦Historical production data
◦Capital and operating cost statistics and economic tables
◦Activity results
◦Well production forecasts
