JOB SCOPE:
Plan, direct, and coordinate selling, buying, leasing, or governance of commercial and industrial real estate property.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (not listed in any particular order)
Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, and administrative functions for commercial and industrial properties.
Direct collection of monthly assessments, rental fees, deposits, and payment of insurance premiums, mortgage, taxes, and incurred operation expenses.
Meet with clients to negotiate management and service contracts, determine priorities, and discuss financial and operational status of property.
Investigate complaints, disturbances, and violation and resolve problems.
Maintain records of sales, rental usage, special permits issued, maintenance/operating costs, and property availability.
Negotiate for sale, lease, or development of property and complete or review appropriate documents and forms.
Confer with legal authority to ensure transactions and terminations of contracts and agreements are in accordance with court orders, laws, and regulations.
Prepare reports summarizing financial and operational status of property and facility.
With assistance from HR: recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
Skills & Knowledge:
Essential
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of rules, regulations, and related compliance issues
Strong computer skills
Preferred
Real Estate license
3+ years experience in field, management position
