Role Synopsis
Baker Hughes, located in Alaska, is seeking an experienced FIELD SPECIALIST to work in the Wireline product line. This position will provide instruction and direct supervision to junior level field engineers on day-to-day activities. This role requires flexibility to work any hours and does not have a set rotational schedule.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Provides direct instruction and supervision to junior Field Engineers on day-to-day wellsite work and activities.
- Gives advice and direction to external customer and third-party wellsite colleagues.
- Acts as a project leader and mentor to junior associates
- Provides solutions and resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems at the wellsite
- Knowledge of the product line's tools and services
- Acts as an external customer contact with a high degree of professionalism
- Other duties as assigned
- Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Industry experience and product line training required.
- 3 + years of experience
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- Two year Technical Degree preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of Logging while Drilling services at the well site.
- Ability to work in challenging drilling and logging environments and to provide complex solutions to the Customer.
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills; excellent customer awareness.
