Position Summary:
The Director of Sales and Marketing reports to the CEO and is a member of the company's leadership team. The position is responsible for the direction and management of all sales and marketing operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, and distribution and channel strategies. The Director of Sales & Marketing will drive the company's achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsibility for the recruitment and performance of a global sales and marketing organization, appropriate for the company's growth.
2. Establish compensation, training, and sales incentive programs.
3. Establish, develop and implement revenue budgets and plans.
4. Drive the development of national and international sales and marketing strategies.
5. Establish priorities based on Pareto analysis.
6. Establish and direct channel and distribution strategies and programs, including regional agents and integrators.
7. Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.
8. Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales management.
9. Develop pricing policies, including terms and conditions for high-profile customers and channel partners.
10. Prepare and communicate annual sales forecast and monthly adjustments.
11. Develop and manage the company's annual marketing plan.
12. Produce monthly reports analyzing bid volume and the sales pipeline.
13. Establish and manage high level strategic alliances with key customers and distribution channels.
Requirements or Candidate Profile:
Candidate will currently be in a Sale/Marketing leadership role with experience selling/managing an international sales team in one or more of the following industries and areas: Oil and Gas, Energy and/or Tubular Coating Industries. Previous global selling background into Oil and Gas (upstream/mid-stream) Integrators and Operators (majors, independents, and nationals) and Electric Utilities is ideal. Previous experience with global marketing strategy development is preferred.
Experience: 10+ selling and exceeding sales quotas; includes 7+ years sales management experience with 2 or more years in a senior management position.
Must be a road warrior with the ability to travel up to 75% - including travel to remote international locations.

• Outstanding closing skills and experience selling technical solutions
• Proven track record selling to C-level executives in Fortune (1000) companies.
• Experience forming strategic alliances with agents, integrators and distributors and maintaining positive relationships with the various sales channels.
• Experience in a start-up or emerging growth company.
• A Proven evangelical sales track record.
• Experience selling disruptive /emerging technology solutions comprising of technical elements.
• Experience operating globally.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with executive levels customers and partners.
• Established contacts and relations with potential customers and partners.
• Experience with specific sales methodologies and sales management.
• Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
• Ability to mentor, motivate and develop key sales staff.
