Crosstex Energy, formed in 1996 is a Midstream Natural Gas company. Crosstex provides gas gathering, processing, transmission, distribution, supply and marketing, as well as crude oil marketing. We have 500+ employees, with headquarters in Dallas, TX. Currently Crosstex has over 3,300 miles of pipeline, 10 gas processing plants and 3 fractionation facilities.
Crosstex is currently looking for an Engineering Manager - PNGL to join our Division here in Dallas, TX.
Purpose:
Provide leadership and oversight to the Crosstex PNGL Engineering Group.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the Engineering Group to provide engineering support to the PNGL asset team for all operational and commercial activities.
Prepare development and training plans for the engineering staff and monitor project development.
Focus on customer service through timely response to asset team request and insistence of professional, clear and complete project deliverables.
Project deliverables include pipeline hydraulic analysis, process plant simulations and project development (complete scope of work, responsibility matrices, project cost, project schedules and project economics).
Candidates must be experienced in pipeline and facility designs (ASME B31.3, B31.4 & B31.8), project management, project cost control, basic economic evaluation and pipeline hydraulic simulation (Advantica-Stoner or equivalent).
Supervision of Personnel:
Directly supervises staff of 3 engineers.
Experience (and other qualifications):
B.S. Engineering discipline required
5-10 years industry experience
