Job Description:

We are currently seeking candidates to fill multiple direct hire openings for Service Representatives at a large, fast-paced mechanical equipment company in the Covington, LA area. These positions require extensive travel, and candidates must have the ability to work with a wide range of people in the pharmaceutical, industrial and petrochemical environment.

Job Duties:
• Perform on-site troubleshooting of equipment
• Provide classroom and hands-on training for equipment operation and maintenance to customers
• Resolution of field service problems
• Identify and promote proactive, value added service opportunities
• Perform installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment at customer site
• Develop positive working relationship with customers
• Self-manage
• Manage travel logistics and related expenses
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent plus technical training
• 3-5 years experience with electrical/mechanical equipment
• Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers
• Competent with personal computers and office related software
• Hands-on experience working with instrumentation and electrical components desired
• Previous knowledge of water purification equipment and processes preferred
• Self-motivated, requiring little to no supervision
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Ability to communicate and interact with all levels within an organization
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and manages time well
