Coil Tubing Engineer-Job description

    • In depth knowledge of coiled tubing and its applications
    • Provide engineering/technical support to Coil Tubing field operations
    • Ensure the proper technical documentation is recorded and forwarded to operations
    • Monitor programs for Coil Tubing well interventions and drilling
    • Develop full awareness of new Coil Tubing techniques and competitive technologies and products
    • Assist operating units with troubleshooting of coiled tubing related problems and development of cost-effective solutions
    • Operates coiled tubing units and associated equipment (fluid pump, nitrogen pump, crane, transports)  with little or no supervision in efforts to assist in completion of or intervention procedures on oil and gas wells
    • Mobilization of equipment by driving coiled tubing units & pump trucks to job location
    • Maintains a safe work area or job site by following company's policies and procedures

Qualifications

    • Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
    • 1 year Field Engineer experience
    • Experience with coil tubing, fracturing/acidizing/cementing is preferred
    • Strong mechanical aptitude & strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen and background check
