BASIC FUNCTION:

Organizes and coordinates all maintenance activities associated with Weatherford Fracturing Technologies equipment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Organize and coordinate all maintenance activities associated with Weatherford Fracturing Technologies equipment.
    • Must establish and maintain sound Preventive Maintenance program.
    • Responsible for managing a staff of maintenance personnel.
    • Responsible for creating and managing local equipment maintenance department budgets with Maintenance Manager and local District Manager.
    • Work with internal and external customers to meet the Companies needs, and achieve the organizations maintenance goals.
    • Work with Procurement department to establish cost effective purchasing of parts and supplies, selection of suppliers, and establishment of inventory levels for repair parts.
    • Ensure that warranty reimbursements are applied for and received from equipment suppliers.
    • Communicate with equipment manufactures and maintenance manager concerning equipment problems and improvements.
    • Oversee fabrication of locally built equipment and adhere to Company standards/ recommendations.
    • Oversee DOT compliance and reporting as it relates to the equipment.
    • Maintain and/or assist with vehicle licensing, permits and other related functions.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain processes and measures to insure the accuracy of JD Edwards data.
    • Maintain record keeping and retention of DOT/ Government and Weatherford policies.
    • Responsible for accident recovery and investigations.
    • Responsible for all aspects of staffing requirements within the equipment maintenance department.
    • Promotes teamwork and good communication between maintenance department and operations.
    • Travel may be required.
    • 24 hour call.
    • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • 2 years of technical training preferred.
    • 3-5 years maintenance/ mechanic experience.
    • Supervisory skills.
    • Intermediate computer skills.
    • Ability to learn JD Edwards operating system and functions.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Good time management, planning and organization skills.
    • Acquire detailed operational knowledge of Weatherford equipment and its operating systems.
    • Ability to read various types of drawings/schematics.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Satisfactory driving record as defined in Driver Qualification Policy HRD
