 Our major oil and gas client is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst for a 9-12 month opportunity in West Houston.
Responsibilities:
Research invoice discrepancies.
Assure invoice accuracy/contract rate compliance by verifying invoices against the contract and rate schedule. Update cost savings database with any rate or contract discrepancies.
Handle correspondence with vendors. Candidate will need to have good oral and written communication skills.
Work with Contract Managers to resolve contract or rate issues.
Ability to work within a multidiscipline environment due to interaction with other Finance staff within Control Team, Operations and Resources, as well as Technical personnel and leadership at various levels within NAG.
The candidate will need to be skilled in Excel and able to adapt to new systems and technology easily. This role will involve the use of FUEGO, SAP, SMS, Filenet, and OpenWells.
