MOTIVATED FLEET INVENTORY CO-ORDINATOR

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
* Supervise of inventory management procedures and support the development of new procedures
* Provide:
* Advice on all matters related to inventory and stock control with interface with the Vessel Chief Engineers and Storemen
* Asset Management System user training and support on inventory and stock management
* Support for management of critical spares for marine, pipelay, dive and lifting/crane assets
* Active Participation:
* In regular auditing of inventory management onboard vessels
* In maintenance Support Team meetings
* In the cleanout, review, implementation and migration of Stores and inventory data into the new AMS as part of the Asset Management System Project Team
* Co-ordinate the setup of new stock inventories for marine, dive and others onboard fleet vessels
* Knowledge of all aspects of the SMS including:
o Ensure Safety and Pollution Prevention policies are reached
o Ensure responsibility, authority, and interrelation of all personnel who manage and verify work affecting these aspects of Company operations is properly conducted
COMMUNITY
* Located in West Houston
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
* Mathematics and English Standard Grade or equivalent
* Mechanical or Engineering, maritime background and Risk Assessment are plus
* Experience in management of stores, inventories and stock control
* Good IT skills
* Good communication and writing skills
* Good Interpersonal skills
PERSONAL QUALITIES:
* Self-motivated
* Ability to work effectively in a team as well as on their own
* Safety conscious
