This is an entry level testing position in the DecisionSpace QM group. Test interactions across complex software applications for use in the oil and gas industry using knowledge of the DecisionSpace Geology Advance Interpretation Module; perform software testing including: manual and automated testing; design and implement complex test cases; write defect reports; conduct verification testing; perform and test product installs; present testing results, assist in the execution and validation of existing scripts and provide further test case development. Experience must include: exploration/production geology, geological interpretation including horizontal well correlation, dipmeter analysis and mapping, creating lithology, facies and pay curves. Experience with Landmark software and software testing is helpful.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related degree plus 2-5 or more years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in drilling in the oil and gas industry.

Software testing and DecisionSpace experience is a plus. A graduate degree in Geology or similar discipline is preferred.
