Role Synopsis:

• Manages the manufacturing/production engineering function and coordinates activities between design engineering and manufacturing management, finance/accounting and plant maintenance.
  
• Oversees the design, selection, installation and optimization and maintenance of manufacturing process equipment, machine tools, controls and systems.
  
• Supervises personnel of four direct reports.
  
• Develops engineering specifications as to mechanics, mate rials, tolerances and designs.
  
• Handles special projects, as assigned.
  

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. Prefer a Bachelor's and Master's in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering Technology.
• 8+ years experience in electronics manufacturing or electrical assembly manufacturing environment required. 10+ years experience preferred.
