Job Description:
|
Responsible for the oversight, preparation, analysis, and distribution of the Company's consolidated financial statements. Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close processes including the performance of analytical reviews of the operating results to ensure accurate, timely and relevant financial reporting for multiple operating entities and corporate functions. Responsible for monthly forecasting and completion of the annual operating budget. Direct supervision of Assistant Controller, as well as coordination of related general accounting activities with the Plant Controllers and multiple indirect reports.
Ensure financial statements comply with GAAP requirements and prepare and maintain supporting documentation for financial statements and related footnotes. Control all general ledger transactions by reviewing accounts payable, fixed asset, accounts receivable, inter-company, journal entries and all operations that effect the trial balance. Assist with the 5 year planning and analysis of long term investments. Manage the month end closing process.
Bachelors or Masters Degree in accounting, Licensed CPA preferred. 10+ years total experience with public accounting, and manufacturing industry experience in a Standard Costing environment. Min. 5 years in a supervisory capacity. Advanced Excel.
