Objectives of the Position
• Manage the Top Drive Rental and AMSS businesses in Asia Pacific Region (except for Indonesia)
• Provide Leadership for all Top Drive Technician's in field and workshop
• Ensure Client Satisfaction ensuring the CSS program is fully implemented and followed
• Lead Preventative Maintenance Program for APBU and ensure that APBU PM Team members comply and adhere to Tesco PM policies.
• Manage costs aggressively to ensure SQ is maintained while providing the highest possible Operating Income
• Along with accounts department, ensure proper and accurate invoicing is completed on time and efficiently each month
• Accurate daily and monthly reporting
Principal Tasks
• Manage Client Portfolio within designated region
• Job Planning - logistics, assets, personnel and Cost Control
• Manage team of Top Drive Technicians -
• Act as mentor to develop and ensure high level of performance from field personnel
• Perform regular Technician evaluations and ensure required training is provided cost effectively
• Ensure Technicians are utilized efficiently
• Supervise Workshop Activities
• Ensure Top Drive Maintenance/Inspections up to Tesco standards
• Mentor and develop Workshop Personnel
• Plan equipment repairs effectively to ensure cost control
• Represent Tesco at client visits
• Pre-spud meetings, After Action Review meetings and General Update meetings as required by client
• Continually look for process improvements to enhance the client experience with Tesco
• Invoice Preparation
• Top Drive Rental, Workshop and Field Service Quotes
• Job cost control
• Optimise Asset Utilisation
• Inventory Control
• Lead Preventative Maintenance Program
Experience and Expertise:
o Min 5 years Top Drive experience
o 8 + years oilfield experience in operations and/or workshop
o Min 2 years Supervisory and/or Management Experience - key focus on development of personnel and growing the business
o Maintain adequate level of finance knowledge to manage P&L for region
o Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering an asset
o High level of interpersonal skills
