Job Description:
|
 1. Risk Assurance
• Develops the risk-based annual audit plan for Carigali and submission to E&P ExCo for endorsement
• Accountable for delivery of the activities of the annual assurance plan and reporting of the findings to E&P ExCo
• Accountable for trending the output of assurance activities to identify systematic issues, and potential recommendations
• Accountable for tracking completion of actions, and verification that actions addressed the gaps
2. Interface with Group Internal Audit Division
• Inform GIAD of the major outcomes of E&P assurance activities
• Monitor the completion of GIAD actions by E&P, and report status to E&P ExCo
3. Risk Management Framework
• Establish a common framework of risk descriptors
• Establish a process to develop a periodic (at least annual) update to the bottom-up consolidated risk profile
• Provide expert resources for risk concepts, policies and strategies
4. Risk Management Activities
• Accountable for the Value Assurance Reviews:Independent assessment of whether major project teams have done everything necessary to identify significant risks, opportunities and uncertainties, and that the work has been completed to the necessary quality so that the project is not unnecessarily exposed.
• Accountable for developing, then delivering other focused assurance events that provide an independent assessment of key E&P risks; international reserves, project risk assessments
• Accountable for delivery of Group Framework risk requirements; Country Risk Assessments, and Contractor risk assessments
5. Risk Profiles
• Accountable for the delivery of the E&P risk profiles (e.g. Country Risk Register) to provide E&P ExCo and PETRONAS with the view of the entirety of the risk landscape.
6. Risk Governance
• Facilities E&P feedback / adaptations to Group Risk Frameworks
• Undertakes benchmarking exercise on risk management practices from other E&P companies
Position Requirements:
• Management experience within Group Internal Audit
• Management experience of Risk and Strategy; value and non-technical risk
• Ability to present and articulate risks and outcomes at the Executive
• Ability to design then implements a new risk organization that delivers value
• Necessary seniority to be able to intervene, and gain access to the E&P organization at each level
• Strong delivery and commercial/risk focus
Qualification & Experience:
• Degree in any discipline.
• MBA would be an added advantage.
• 10-15 years experience in upstream activities.
• Possess experience in risk management/assessment activities.
