Our client is a modern refinery, centrally located in the industrial port area of Rotterdam Euro poort and is part of an international oil company. Their aim is to become more and more safe, clean and efficient to operate and deliver products that meet the highest specifications and technical requirements (worldclass). Part of this ambition is the study of possibilities to build a hydro cracking unit (HCU). Therefore we are looking for an experienced (m/f)
HCU Process Engineer
core position in the realization of a hydro cracker unit
In this position you will have a crucial part in the project start-up of a new hydro cracker installation process. Within the multidisciplinary project you are involved in all phases of front end engineering and design to commissioning. From your experience you act as a critical sparring partner and have a proactive engagement on all process engineering activities focused on the safety and optimal utilization of the installation. You check, test and evaluate the engineering results of the engineering companies and contractors to achieve 'Best Process Engineering Design Practices'. After start-up, you will be part of the Process Engineering Team.
Required: a critical, motivated and experienced Process Engineer who knows his way in the engineering complexity of the construction of a hydro cracker unit. A self starter with a strong team spirit, who quickly consults (cost) efficient and practical design solutions and who is very much aware of the environmental and safety standards. A MSc Chemical or Process Engineering completed with several years of operational HCU experience. Good understanding of written and spoken English.
