Job Description:
Provide reservoir engineering support and analysis for non operated surveillance activities. Oversee preparation of well election packages, decline curve and economic analyses, update various databases and tracking spreadsheets, coordinate with Land. Access various external web sites (Operator and State) to gather and analyse data. Help prepare annual forecasts and budgets, long range plans, reserves migration.

    • Demonstrated success as a Reservoir Engineer
    • Managing evaluation of 3rd party well election proposals
    • Oversee economic evaluations for well proposals and budgets
    • Oversee production reporting and forecasting activities
    • Oversee reserves migration, decline curve analyses, track and report changes
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of unconventional operations

To be successful in this role, candidate must be well organized and task oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure of a substantial joint interest portfolio.

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm

    • Excellent communication skills (written / verbal) Qualification: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 7 years oil & gas industry experience. Experience & Technical Competencies:
    • 3-5 years experience working as a reservoir engineer, preferably on North American unconventional reservoirs
    • Experience estimating reserves
    • Proficiency with probabilistic methods
    • Knowledge and experience in industry technical applications such as ARIES, OFM, and VOLTS
    • Reservoir simulation and nodal analysis experience
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc
