 WTS Energy is seeking to hire Well Services Advisor for one of its client who is an International Oil & Gas operating company.
The responsibilities of Well Services Advisor will include but are not limited to the following:
• Field supervision of Slickline and Electric Line operations which needs a good all round knowledge of Slick-Line Units and Down-Hole equipment that includes "Baker" "Camco" and "Halliburton" Nipples, SSD, GLV and Mandrels, SCSSSV, SCSSV, Wireline Fishing Equipment and all related Wireline Surface Lubricator and BOP Rig-Up for both Onshore and Offshore Company Well Locations.
• Sound knowledge of Coil Tubing operations nitrogen lift and snubbing operations.
• Ensure that all Contractors Wireline Equipment and Down-Hole Operations are carried out in compliance with Company Safety Management System.
• Ensure All Job Work Permits and related documentation for Equipment Certification are in order prior to Job commencement
• To record all Wireline activities and to ensure that all contractors record and make daily "On Job" reports to allow well files to be kept up to date.
• To review the existing Well Service Procedures and report any problems encountered with contractors equipment to the General Manager Production.
• To Ensure all "On Job" work is carried out correctly and Job Programs are followed to avoid lost production whenever possible.
• Providing support to the field operations Supervisors : onshore and offshore prior to any Down-Hole Wireline Job commencement.
• Liase with various contracting companies to ensure an efficient cost implementations of well services plan.
• Ensure full adherence to company's HSE polices, procedures and standard.
Skills:
• At least HND in Engineering discipline and General College Education with Wireline 1 and 2 courses
• Good written and spoken English and Computer Literate
• 10 years experience in Well Service Slick Line Operations.
Remarks:
• Work Schedule: 28 days on 28 days off rotation
• Duration: Initial one year contract plus extension option
• He/She will be reporting to the General Manager Production.
• For this position, preference will be given to Nigerian nationals. In case Expatriate candidate(s) are selected it is a prerequisite he/she is tasked to mentor and train a Nigerian understudy
