 Description:
· Work closely with Operations to promote Health & Safety in the work environment.
· Develop on site job safety analysis
· Participate as a member of RCA team
· Conduct Post accident interviews and data gathering.
· Frequent travel by helicopter or boat to offshore locations.
· Frequently conduct offshore and land location job site safety audits
· Participate in Construction pre-job planning meetings and follow through with site visits upon mobilization.
Qualification
· 2-5 years safety experience in oil and gas industry where safety was primary duty (working in 2 or more of the environments of welding, shore base operations, sandblasting and offshore production)
· Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred
· OHST or CHST certification desired
· All certifications needed for travel to customer's offshore production facilities
· Experience in developing JSEA
· Experience in conducting accident investigation and root cause analysis
· Working knowledge of OSHA, MMS and DOT regulations
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Advanced knowledge of rigging and crane safety
