 EXPAT Senior Production Technologist
I am keen to speak to a Senior Production Technologist. The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Production Engineer including production optimization, oil and gas well operations, completion design, artificial lift design, and nodal analysis for surface operations and subsurface operations. It is also a necessity for the candidate to have artificial lift experience for rod pumps (SRP's), electric submersible pumps (ESP's), and gas lift is required. Experience in minimizing artificial lift failures is beneficial. Experience in developing and evaluating the effectiveness of oilfield chemical programs, including corrosion control, water chemistry, demulsifiers, pour point depressant, H2s scavaging and scale inhibitors would also be beneficial. This is working for an international client, that the successful expatriate candidate will represent the clients' production engineering operations.
Responsiblities:
Actively optimise daily production rates from ESP, rod pump and gas lift wells.
Analyse well tests and make recommendations for improving the performance of individual wells- pump upgrade, recompletion, re-perf, re-frac, etc.
Artificial lift design, monitoring, installation, troubleshooting, and optimising
Artificial lift run-time improvements: analyse failure reports for electric submersible, sucker rod pumps and gas lift wells and make recommendations for improvement.
Recommend and review fracture stimulation programs and jobs and monitor performance of service companies to improve.
Review workover, completion and re-completion programs and schedule jobs
Actively support the vendor selection and tendering process.
