Our Client is a leading supplier of products and services for surface and subsea systems.
The Sales Leader Subsea system Asia plays a key role within the Subsea system Sales organization and impacts on the country's go-to-market strategy. He/she will be responsible for growing the Subsea orders in the country and will demonstrate leadership in managing new accounts penetration within the assigned area. He/she will maintain and grow wallet share and will support and represent a defined product portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities - Responsible for the identification of potential growth markets/segments as well as for the definition and implementation of the relevant growth strategy/initiatives that fits with business imperatives and products/services capabilities
- Responsible to drive and lead subsea system growth opportunities in the region
- Define and implement of Oil& Gas marketing and commercial strategies in order to increase orders volume and profitability
- Leverage cross-functional and cross-business resources to maximize market penetration
- Establish a systematic business scouting plan with the purpose of identifying new market opportunities
- Coordinate sales activities ensuring the development of the Oil & Gas brand awareness in the market
- Establish strong relationship key customers by understanding their needs and get credibility in proposing solutions to their problems in an accurate and timely fashion
- Recruit, coach & train directs and indirect reports on activities within areas of responsibility
- Support the region in providing data, reporting and presentations to meet requirements.
Requirements
Engineering degree or equivalent
- 10+ years industry experience in sales functions including international work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas and Subsea Markets and Customers
- Able to generate immediate credibility with key customers and to understand their needs and solve their problems in an accurate and timely fashion
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills ...ability to respect and to deal with a diverse team.
- Strong communication skills and confidence with executive level presentations
- Strong people management and decision-making skills
