A technical expert who is capable of functioning effectively under broad direction. Exploits expertise and experience in hydrocarbon exploration, development & production and pursues innovative approaches; understands how domain data has been acquired and creates and uses cross-discipline workflows to implement best-practice approaches. Capable of leading a project or leading and coaching 2 to 10 employees at various levels of competence in the relevant technical domain(s). Accountable for the use of best practice work processes, project-, quality- and commercial management. Recognises and exploits the talents of his staff and demonstrates commitment to their competences and career development. Is frequently involved in customer contacts and regularly contributes to business development activities. Gets involved regularly in budgeting and financial control; some involvement in strategy development. Effectively exploits a global network of professional contacts and typically contributes to 1 to 5 multi-disciplinary projects simultaneously within the geographical region. Functions at role model level in terms of consulting practice development and project delivery; is proficient in business development. Skills are typically acquired through completion of a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree with 5 to 10 years of experience with an E&P operator or equivalent consulting team.

· Geomechanics business leader / business development professionals

· Solid understanding of geomechanics analytic techniques and market needs

· Technical credibility in areas of drilling on-and-offshore, and/or rock mechanics

· Proven track record at team leadership and business development (or managing / working with BD workforce)

· Ability to develop a coherent global strategy for capturing geomechanics market opportunities

· Experience with operators and service companies

· Knowledge of consulting businesmodels and profitability economics

· Ability to work with HR and Workforce planning to develop optimal workforce recruiting, development and deployment

· Team player and willingness to travel within context of a global company
